A nationally accredited museum and documented station on the Underground Railroad, The Jackson Homestead is also home to the Newton Historical Society. Visit this 1809 Homestead and view its collection of photographs, paintings, maps, manuscripts, and building histories. The museum welcomes groups and offers programs, holiday events and has many hands on activities for children. The Historical Society coordinates an annual House Tour not to be missed!
