This 45-acre botanical garden of New England Wild Flower Society, America’s oldest plant conservation group, has over 1,000 native plant species on display and 150 rare and endangered species. The various gardens and habitats serve as the Society’s laboratory for horticulture, gardening, conservation, and education. Open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from April 15 through October 31. Guided walking tours, included with admission, occur weekdays at 10 a.m. and weekends at 2 p.m. with no reservations required. Group tours and cart tours for people needing mobility assistance are by reservation only at bdrexler@newenglandwild.org
