Visit Stone Zoo and discover incredible species from around the world including black bears, jaguars, cougars, meerkats, white-cheeked gibbons, flamingos and more!

For more than 100 years, Stone Zoo has delighted generations of visitors. This 26-acre site is home to monkeys, Canada lynx, black bears, Mexican gray wolves, snow leopards and many other fascinating animals from around the world. The Treasures of the Sierra Madre exhibit features jaguars, cougars, coyote, and Gila monsters. At Windows to the Wild, view hyacinth macaws, flamingos, meerkats and many other species. Don’t miss a visit to the white-cheeked gibbon exhibit. Because gibbons are arboreal, or tree-dwellers, the exhibit is 20 feet tall to allow them to climb high as in their natural environment.
